Basketball Recap: Clarksville Generals vs. Eastern Musketeers
The Clarksville Generals and the Eastern Musketeers squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but sadly the Clarksville Generals had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a rough 69-33 loss at the hands of the Musketeers. Clarksville just can't catch a break and has now endured six defeats in a row.
Courtney Austin and Tiarra Lewis certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Austin scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Lewis scored 12 points along with two steals.
Clarksville's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Eastern, their victory bumped their record up to 3-21.
Clarksville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Eastern is on the road again on Friday and plays the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Austin presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Musketeers in Indiana (the Eagles are ranked 73rd, while the Musketeers are ranked 288th).
