Volleyball Recap: Father Lopez Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Father Lopez was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Mainland on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Green Wave came up short against the University Titans on Tuesday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Green Wave have suffered since September 9th.

Father Lopez took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-18.

Despite the defeat, Father Lopez saw an underclassman step up: freshman Addie Dean had four digs and one block. Dean is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Father Lopez has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for University, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.
