Basketball Recap: Brantley Has No Trouble Against Southern Choctaw

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Brantley walked away with it. They took down the Southern Choctaw Indians 64-49 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

It was another big night for Jayden Parks, who went 8 of 19 to rack up 30 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Brantley's points. Another player making a difference was Jon Kilcrease, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine boards.

Brantley's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Southern Choctaw, their loss dropped their record down to 15-3.

As of now, neither Brantley nor Southern Choctaw have any future games scheduled.
