Volleyball Recap: Albany Academy Comes Up Short

Albany Academy lost against La Salle Institute back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bears came up short against the Cadets, falling 3-0.

While Albany Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 25-20.

Albany Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for La Salle Institute, they pushed their record up to 8-3-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Albany Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Schalmont at 6:00 p.m. on October 14. As for La Salle Institute, they will square off against Duanesburg at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
