Sun Prairie West had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the De Pere Redbirds on Friday. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Redbirds recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Despite the loss, De Pere still got an impressive performance from Siena Arendt, who had three digs and two aces. Arendt has been hot recently, having also posted 13 or more assists the last three times she's played.

De Pere's loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Sun Prairie West has already played their next contest (against Wrightstown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for De Pere, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Beaver Dam on the 29th.
