Soccer Game Preview: Rehoboth Christian vs. East Mountain

The Rehoboth Christian Lynx will square off against the East Mountain Timberwolves at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rehoboth Christian will be strutting in after a victory while East Mountain will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Rehoboth Christian needed a bit of extra time to put away Navajo Prep. They won by a goal and slipped past the Eagles 2-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for Rehoboth Christian as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, East Mountain managed to keep up with Cottonwood Classical Prep until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Timberwolves lost 6-1 to the Coyotes. East Mountain just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Kayla Arellano, who's now up to three this season.

East Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Rehoboth Christian, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-6.
