Florence suffered their biggest loss since December 6, 2023 on Monday. Their tough 51-30 defeat to Pusch Ridge Christian Academy might stick with them for a while. Florence has not had much luck with Pusch Ridge Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Keylee Scarbrough, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Aubrey Farmer was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Gilbert Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They suffered a rough 61-40 loss at the hands of Coolidge.
Florence has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Gilbert Christian, their loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 8-9.
