Soccer Recap: Peekskill Takes a Loss

Peekskill was the 2-1 winner over Lakeland when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Devils fell 4-2 to the Hornets on Monday.

Peekskill now has a losing record of 0-1-1. As for Lakeland, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5-1 record this season.

Lakeland will challenge Carmel at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Peekskill will be paying especially close attention to the Hornets' matchup: after the Hornets face off against Cornwall Central, they'll take on Peekskill again at 6:30 p.m. on the 17th.
