Football Recap: Fairhaven Starts off Right with Win over Attleboro + How To Watch

Fairhaven took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They managed a 33-28 win over the Attleboro Bombardiers.

Fairhaven found their leader in sophomore Kyle Soares, who rushed for 135 yards and a pair of TDs on only 14 carries.

Fairhaven was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 329 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Attleboro only rushed for ten rushing yards.

Attleboro's loss came despite strong showings from Brayden Jones and James Destito. Jones threw for 253 yards and four touchdowns, while Destito picked up 95 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Looking ahead, Fairhaven is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Somerset Berkley Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Attleboro, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stoughton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
