Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Bloomfield's offense. They came up short against Cedar Grove on Wednesday, falling 8-0. Surprisingly, this marked the Bengals' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Bloomfield has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Newark Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
