Mission Viejo never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Marina Vikings 6-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Diablos have posted since March 29, 2024.

Carson Browning tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only a hit while striking out six over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Joey Pallone, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jacob Powley, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Mission Viejo now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Marina, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Mission Viejo will square off against Aliso Niguel at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Marina, they will challenge Portola at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
