Tristan Wilson posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

Wilson's strong effort led North Central over Ben Davis and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
