Baseball Recap: Phillips Exeter Academy Comes Up Short

Phillips Exeter Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Dexter Southfield. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to Dexter Southfield from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Phillips Exeter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Dexter Southfield, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Phillips Exeter Academy Lions challenge Austin Prep Cougars at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Dexter Southfield, they will square off against Roxbury Latin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
