            Baseball Recap: Red Mountain Mountain Lions vs. Kofa Kings        
        
		
        
        
            Red Mountain fought the good fight in their extra-innings  contest against Kofa  on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Kings by a score of  7-6. The Mountain Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Kings apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in March of 2018.
 Red Mountain saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Cade Olsen, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-4. Another  was  Simeon Johnson, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI.
Red Mountain's defeat  ended  a  seven-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 15-4. As for Kofa, they now  have a winning record of 8-7.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Red Mountain will host Skyline  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Kofa, they will be playing at home against San Luis  at 3:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Kings are facing the Sidewinders at the right time seeing as the Sidewinders are stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
