Football Recap: Scotland/Menno Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Scotland/Menno can now relate to. They were dealt a 57-0 loss at the hands of the Hamlin Chargers on Thursday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Trappers were not able to get on the board.

Izayah Ulmer threw for 83 yards on five of 21 attempts. Hunter Clark was his top target, picking up 52 receiving yards.

Scotland/Menno is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5. As for Hamlin, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Scotland/Menno does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hamlin, they will challenge Hill City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Chargers 8.3, the Rangers 14.4) so any points scored will be well earned.
