California won the last time they faced Bethlehem Center and things went their way on Wednesday too. California walked away with an 8-3 victory over Bethlehem Center. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.
Gabbi Luncinski was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Luncinski was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Kayla Saeli was incredible, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Aubrey Dearinger was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base.
California's record now sits at 3-1. As for Bethlehem Center, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. California will take on Monessen at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bethlehem Center, they will challenge Brownsville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
