Basketball Game Preview: Fyffe Red Devils vs. Sand Rock Wildcats

Fyffe is 1-9 against Sand Rock since December of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Fyffe Red Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sand Rock Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Fyffe took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Tuesday. They walked away with a 38-27 victory over Geraldine.

Meanwhile, Sand Rock came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 66-40 win. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 20 points or more this season.

Fyffe is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season. As for Sand Rock, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-6.
