Linton-Stockton waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the White River Valley Wolverines 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Miners, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12, 25-14.

Ella Warrick paced Linton-Stockton's offense, picking up 23 kills. Warrick got some help from Audrey Sullivan and her 28 assists. Warrick was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Linton-Stockton's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Linton-Stockton has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Bloomington South on the 21st. As for White River Valley, they are taking a road trip to challenge Dugger Union at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
