Volleyball Recap: Ezekiel Academy Victorious

Ezekiel Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Victory Christian Lions.

Ezekiel Academy can attribute much of their success to Addie Newell, who had eight aces. That's the most aces Newell has posted since back in September of 2024.

Coming up, Ezekiel Academy is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Tabernacle at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Victory Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Appalachian at 4:00 p.m. on the 26th. The matchup will give the Lions their first taste of in-conference action this season.
