Football Game Preview: Morgan Academy Senators vs. Chambers Academy Rebels

The Morgan Academy Senators will head out on the road to face off against the Chambers Academy Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Morgan Academy is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Lowndes Academy on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Senators took a blow against the Rebels, falling 51-16. The Senators were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-8.

Meanwhile, Chambers Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 38-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Maclay. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Rebels came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 106th in Alabama, while the Marauders are ranked 263rd in Florida).

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 6-2. As for Morgan Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Morgan Academy took a serious blow against Chambers Academy in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, falling 52-12. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Senators were down 40-6.
