Basketball Recap: Hirsch's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

EPIC Academy came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Hirsch, but Isiah Ramos wouldn't allow it. The Hirsch Huskies walked away with a 67-57 win over the EPIC Academy The Legends on Tuesday thanks in part to Ramos, who almost dropped a double-double on 33 points and nine boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Hirsch's points.

Despite the loss, EPIC Academy still got an impressive performance from Antwan Donley, who posted 22 points. Abel Kirkwood was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Hirsch moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for EPIC Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Hirsch will venture away from home to challenge Bowen at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bowen will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Hirsch surely won't give up without a fight. As for EPIC Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Amandla Charter School at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
