Pendleton County hadn't done well against Simon Kenton recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Wildcats walked away with a 4-1 win over the Pioneers. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Pioneers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2025.

The win made it two in a row for Pendleton County and bumps their season record up to 4-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Simon Kenton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Coming up, Pendleton County will head out on the road to face off against George Rogers Clark at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Simon Kenton, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against St. Ursula Academy at 5:30 p.m. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.86 runs per game on average), something the Pioneers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
