Softball Recap: Perry Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

Perry had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They never let the Carson City-Crystal Eagles get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Ramblers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Perry's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Carson City-Crystal, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry will host Saranac at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carson City-Crystal, they will face off against Fulton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
