Soccer Game Preview: Norris vs. Standing Bear

Norris is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Saturday. They will look to defend their home pitch against the Standing Bear Grizzlies at 11:00 a.m. Norris' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Norris' offense. They came up short against Elkhorn North on Tuesday, falling 4-0.

Meanwhile, Standing Bear kept a clean sheet against Conestoga on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Cougars 1-0. Standing Bear's winning goal came courtesy of Miles Hamilton.

Norris' defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Standing Bear, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-12.
