It was a good run, but Halls unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Sunday. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alcoa Tornadoes. If the Red Devils were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to the Tornadoes when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Halls saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrie Johnston, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Halls' loss dropped their record down to 15-3-1. As for Alcoa, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Halls will head out to challenge Campbell County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alcoa, they will challenge Halls at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
