Baseball Recap: Bayless Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Bayless's offense. They came up short against the Jefferson Blue Jays on Tuesday, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that the Bronchos have lost by exactly ten runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Bayless and nudges their season record down to 16-4. As for Jefferson, they pushed their record up to 21-4 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home.

Coming up, Bayless will host Maplewood-Richmond Heights at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bronchos' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Devils have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season. As for Jefferson, they are taking a road trip to square off against Grandview at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
