Valley piles up the points against Bloomfield

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Valley Vikings had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They breezed by the Bobcats at home to the tune of 64-23. Valley has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 25 points or more this season.

Tyler Kozlowski was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with four steals. He hasn't dropped below 17 points for four straight games. Julian Chavez was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds.

Valley is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season. As for Bloomfield, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-15.

Valley will take on Lovington at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Valley is coming into the matchup with three straight wins on the road, so Lovington will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. Bloomfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
