Basketball Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 75-52 to the Colonel Richardson Colonels. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 266th, while the Colonels are ranked 119th).

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Colonel Richardson, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Looking ahead, Washington will be playing at home against Snow Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Snow Hill will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Washington surely won't give up without a fight. As for Colonel Richardson, they will take on Cambridge-South Dorchester on Tuesday.
