Basketball Game Preview: Bennett Tigers vs. Arvada Bulldogs

The Bennett Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the Arvada Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Bennett will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Bennett will bounce into Monday's match after beating Middle Park, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Bennett came out on top in a nail-biter against Middle Park on Thursday, sneaking past 72-70. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since November 30, 2023.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Arvada). They walked away with a 69-60 victory over Sheridan on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Bennett pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.8 points. As for Arvada, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-13.

Bennett came up short against Arvada in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 55-45. Can Bennett avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
