Recap: Hillcrest Huskies vs. Park City Miners

There's no place like home for the Hillcrest Huskies, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against Park City by a score of 61-54 on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Hillcrest, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hillcrest to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rhett Robinson, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Damani Wilkerson was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Park City's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Luke Rice, who scored 16 points, and Duke Gordon who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rice has scored all season.

Hillcrest's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Park City, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillcrest will take on Jordan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jordan is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 55.1 points per game this season. As for Park City, they will be playing at home against Kearns at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Kearns' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
