Basketball Recap: Edison Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Brian Moton and Ladell Brooks

After flying high against Foothill last Saturday, Edison came back down to earth. The Edison Tigers took a 49-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fresno Warriors on Wednesday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.

Edison's loss came despite strong showings from Ladell Brooks and Brian Moton. Brooks posted 19 points, while Moton almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds. Miguel Lopez was another key player, putting up three points.

Even though they lost, Edison smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in four consecutive games.
