Baseball Recap: North Warren Regional Comes Up Short

North Warren Regional was the 6-2 winner over Newton when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots came up short against the Braves on Wednesday, falling 12-2. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Warren Regional's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Newton, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Warren Regional will head out to challenge Notre Dame at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Newton, they will challenge Kittatinny Regional at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.1 runs per game on average), something the Braves will no doubt try to take advantage of.
