Taylor County came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Bowling Green Purples 12-2. Considering the Cardinals have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Taylor County's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Bowling Green, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6-1.
