Softball Recap: Montrose Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mt. Morris on Thursday, Montrose came back down to earth. The Rams came up short against the Webberville Spartans on Monday, falling 15-4.

Kadyn Harber was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Rachel Hillard was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Montrose's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Webberville, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montrose will host Caro at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Webberville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eastern at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
