Softball Recap: South Houston Takes a Loss

South Houston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 28th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Alvin Yellowjackets, falling 17-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in February.

South Houston's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Alvin, they pushed their record up to 12-8-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

South Houston wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 14-0 defeat against Manvel on the 1st. As for Alvin, they have also already played their next game, a 16-1 win against Sam Rayburn on the 1st.
