Softball Recap: Ripley Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Ripley's offense. They came up short against the Amory Panthers on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Ripley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brinson Gay, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

Ripley's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Amory, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ripley will challenge Shannon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Amory, they will face off against Hamilton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
