Tolland and South Windsor are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bobcats at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. South Windsor took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Tolland, who comes in off a win.

Tolland proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 13) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Ellington.

Meanwhile, South Windsor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-11 heartbreaker at the hands of Avon.

Brianna LeGare was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 5-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Siena Hart was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Tolland's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for South Windsor, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Tolland was able to grind out a solid win over South Windsor in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 4-0. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
