Baseball Recap: Mt. Spokane Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Mt. Spokane won the last time they faced Cheney and things went their way on Friday too. The Wildcats walked away with a 7-2 win over the Blackhawks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Mt. Spokane's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Cheney, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Looking ahead, Mt. Spokane will face off against Walla Walla at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats are facing the Blue Devils at the right time seeing as the Blue Devils are stuck on a four-game losing streak. Cheney will be paying especially close attention to Mt.
