Bryn Mawr took St. Paul's Girls into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-9, 23-25, 20-25, 15-12.
Meanwhile, Pallotti couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to Garrison Forest two weeks ago. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row dating back to last season.
