Fans got a thrill when Cole Bloomer and Thomas Jackson connected against Ravenscroft. The longest such play in NCISAA Charlotte Independent Schools this season, the connection resulted in 80 yards.

Charlotte Latin extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Asheville School, 54-13. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.

On the heels of Austin Kendall and Elijah Deveaux, Charlotte Christian has had great success on offense. Kendall is tops in the league in passing with 682 yards, while Deveaux has rushed for 501 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is Charlotte Country Day's Jackson, with 351 yards on 21 catches.

The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Charlotte Latin takes on second place Charlotte Christian.

Providence Day took down New Covenant Knights 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
