Volleyball Recap: West Chicago Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

West Chicago lost against St. Charles East back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Fighting Saints.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-15.

Vince Spadoni paced West Chicago's offense, picking up seven kills. Spadoni got some help from Thomas Cabrera and his eight assists. Spadoni was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

West Chicago's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-8. As for St. Charles East, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-10 record this season.

West Chicago has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Glenbard East on the 13th. As for St. Charles East, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Geneva on the 13th.
