Gosnell strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Blytheville Chickasaws 47-12. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Blytheville still got an impressive performance from Courtney Rogers, who rushed for 136 yards and one score while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. Rogers is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 129 every time he's taken the field this season.

Gosnell's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Blytheville, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.

Coming up, Gosnell will take on Southside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates will need to watch out since the Southerners have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Blytheville, they will square off against Trumann at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chickasaws will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.86 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
