Volleyball Recap: Weiser Takes a Loss

After flying high against Emmett on Saturday, Weiser came back down to earth. The Wolverines came up short against the Fruitland Grizzlies on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Grizzlies recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-10, 25-15.

Evie Dolton paced Weiser's offense, picking up ten kills. Dolton got some help from Presley Williams and her 17 assists. Taylee Mink controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Weiser's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Fruitland, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-7.

Weiser didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Homedale on the 21st. As for Fruitland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Cole Valley Christian on the 23rd.
