Soccer Recap: Smithton Takes a Loss

Smithton managed to keep up with Lone Jack until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Mules. The shutout was out of character for Smithton seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Smithton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lone Jack, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Smithton has already played their next match (against Cole Camp), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lone Jack, they will venture away from home to square off against Pleasant Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
