Basketball Recap: Fairfield Comes Up Short

Fairfield was the 76-69 winner over St. Vincent-St. Mary when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Fairfield Indians lost 60-36 to the St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish on Sunday. The match marked the Indians' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Fairfield has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season. As for St. Vincent-St. Mary, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Fairfield will look to defend their home court on Friday against Sycamore at 7:30 p.m. As for St. Vincent-St. Mary, they will head out to take on Reynoldsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
