Meanwhile, Weatherly came up short against Shenandoah Valley on Thursday and fell 3-1. Weatherly has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Weatherly was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Shenandoah Valley work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 23-25, 25-18, 25-21.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Rachel Rosenlund, who had four aces, two kills, and 23 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Weston, who had eight digs, three kills, and two aces.
Williams Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Weatherly, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.
