Softball Recap: Golden Sierra Wins Going Away Against Vacaville Christian

Golden Sierra won the last time they faced Vacaville Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Grizzlies were the clear victors by a 26-13 margin over the Falcons. The result was nothing new for the Grizzlies, who have now won seven games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Golden Sierra got a massive performance out of Tessa Hill, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, six RBI, and four runs. Lucy Miller was another key player, going 4-for-6 with three stolen bases, four runs, and three RBI.

Golden Sierra kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Golden Sierra's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-6. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 23.7 runs over those games. As for Vacaville Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
