Volleyball Game Preview: Mountain View Academy Mustangs vs. Basis Independent Silicon Valley Bobcats

The Mountain View Academy Mustangs will square off against the Basis Independent Silicon Valley Bobcats at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Mountain View Academy took a loss when they played away from home on March 11th, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on March 13th. They blew past Design Tech 3-0. The Mustangs not only won on March 13th, but they posted their biggest win since April 10, 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Basis Independent Silicon Valley waltzed into their game on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Lobos by a score of 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 18-25, 25-10, 25-23.

The victory got Mountain View Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Basis Independent Silicon Valley, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-3.
