Basketball Recap: Gregory Dotson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Hammond Central over Lake Central

Hammond Central lost against Lake Central back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hammond Central Wolves fell just short of the Lake Central Indians by a score of 55-53. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hammond Central lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Gregory Dotson, who went 7-for-11 en route to 15 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 56% in the last seven games he's played. Cylin Pointer was another key player, putting up ten points.

Noah Enyeart was his usual excellent self, going 7-for-13 on his way to 21 points and eight rebounds for Lake Central. Another player making a difference was Zachary Greene, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 15 points and seven boards.
