Football Recap: Indian Springs Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Indian Springs dropped to 5-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They fell just short of the Miller Rebels by a score of 21-19. The COYOTES were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rebels earlier this season, when they won 20-14.

Despite the loss, Indian Springs still got an impressive performance from Nikolas Padilla, who rushed for 101 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 221 yards and one TD on only 17 passes.

As for Miller, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.5 points over those games.

Jacob Sauceda had a dynamite game, rushing for 201 yards and one score, while also throwing for 47 yards and one TD. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 105.2 rushing yards per game. Deshawn Smith was in the mix too, providing Miller with two touchdowns.

Indian Springs wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 42-21 victory against San Bernardino on the 23rd. As for Miller, they have also already played their next contest, a 14-13 win against Pacific on the 24th.
